Why Rekha quit ‘Fitoor’ – check out the real reason

Mumbai: The posters of ‘Fitoor’ starring Tabu, Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor, are out and the audience is eagerly looking forward to the film. The Abhishek Kapoor film had Rekha on board earlier, but the lady chose to quit the project midway.

Earlier, reports suggested that the legendary actress had creative differences with the makers of the film, but according to a Mid-Day report, Rekha chose not to do the film because the character (Begum) she was playing was a lot similar to her real self.

“The character of Begum is akin to what Rekha is in real life. When she realised that, she found it difficult and uncomfortable to play herself and opted out of the film, Mid-Day quoted a source as saying.
