Watch: The making of Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Neerja’ – It’s incredible

Mumbai: A video of the making of ‘Neerja’ featuring Sonam Kapoor in the titular role is out.

The film is based on Neerja Bhanot, the chief flight purser of the Pan Am 73, who was killed by terrorists while she was trying to save innocent passengers on board the hijacked flight at Karachi International Airport on September 5, 1986.

Aamir Khan, Vidya Balan, Rajkumar Hirani, Boman Irani and Anil Kapoor visited the sets of ‘Neerja’ to motivate the cast and crew of the film.

Neerja was posthumously conferred the Ashoka Chakra, India's highest peacetime gallantry award, in 1987, making her the youngest and first woman recipient of the medal.
