New Delhi: Coming in as a huge relief for the filmmakers, latest reports say that Sujoy Ghosh's 'Kahaani 2' - featuring Bollywood actress Vidya Balan as the leading lady - has been passed by the censor board with a UA certificate. Yes, you read that right!
According to a Bollywood Hungama report, producers Sujoy and Jayantilal Gada on Tuesday evening the walked out of the censor board with an all clear certificate for their upcoming venture 'Kahaani 2'.
A source was quoted as saying, ''It’s a clean ‘UA’ for Kahaani 2 with no cuts. And director Sujoy Ghosh is breathing a sigh of relief. Any cuts in the taut suspense thriller would have disrupted the flow of the narrative. Sujoy was exceptionally tense. Luckily the film sailed through the censor board totally unhampered.''
This Indian thriller drama also stars Arjun Rampal in a pivotal role and the film will hit the big screens on December 2 this year.
The 'Dirty Picture' star will be seen essaying the character of Durga Rani Singh in the film.
