New Delhi: Young and peppy Alia Bhatt will be seen romancing 'Haider' actor Shahid Kapoor in Abhishek Chaubey's 'Udta Punjab'. The actress recently took to micro-blogging site Twitter and posted a tweet about how she is excited to be back home after wrapping the first shooting schedule of the film.
Alia tweeted: “And the first sched for #UdtaPunjab ends for me !!! Apologies for going MIA.. But had to had to focus ;) and now I'm backkkkk ;) sweet home”

The 22-year-old actress will be reportedly seen playing hockey in the film. 'Udta Punjab' will also seen actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanj besides Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead role.
The movie is based on substance abuse in the state.
