'Phantom'-asmic opening weekend, movie mints over 33 crore in three days!

New Delhi: Kabir Khan is indeed celebrating the purple patch in his career. His previous release - 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' starring Salman Khan broke several records at the Box Office and his latest- 'Phantom' is gradually picking up steam in terms of collection.

The movie starring 'Nawab' Saif Ali Khan and gorgeous Katrina Kaif is sprinting smooth on the Box Office and has collected a whopping 33 crores in only three days of it's release.

The film minted Rs.8.46 crore on its opening day. It witnessed a good growth on Saturday and Sunday by collecting Rs.12.78 crore and Rs.11.94 crore, respectively, thus taking its cumulative total to Rs.33.18 crore, read a statement from the production house.

Further, according to an IANS report, 'Phantom' was banned in Pakistan following a petition by Jamaat-ud Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, the mastermind behind the Mumbai mayhem.
