New Delhi: Apparently, debutants Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher's 'Mirzya' has failed to impress the audience on its opening day. Day one collections of the Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directorial are a bit disappointing.
According to Hindi film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie only managed to collect Rs 2.20 crore on Friday. Shocking, isn't it?
"#Mirzya has a SHOCKINGLY LOW start... Records DISMAL figures on Day 1... Fri ₹ 2.20 cr. India biz," he tweeted.
The film tells Mehra's take on the folklore of Mirza-Sahiba.
