New Delhi: Monica Dogra, usually known for serious roles in films like “David” and “Dhobi Ghat”, is not only acting but also lending her soulful voice to a song in upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy “Haaye Dil”.
“The song is called 'Yeh dil', which is a fun tune about freedom, love and the pursuit of magic. It was really fun tracking the song with Jubin Nautyal and Rocky Khanna -- the writers of the song,” the actress said in a statement.
“It was definitely a group effort as I needed to nail the recording right before getting on a plane to the US. But everything worked out great," she added.
The indie queen herself penned down a part of the song.
