New York: Director Mohit Suri is scouting a location here for his next film titled 'Half Girlfriend', an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's book by the same name.
"In #NYC for #half girlfriend recce! It's Christmas season @chetan_bhagat @EkmainaurEktu7," Suri tweeted about his stay here for the upcoming romantic movie, which is being produced by Ekta Kapoor.
He even shared a photograph of the film's director of photography.
"My DOP vishnu Rao at work #half girlfriend recce! #NYC @chetan_bhagat @EkmainaurEktu7 @tushar1307 @tansworld," tweeted the director.
Bhagat's novel 'Half Girlfriend' is about a Bihari boy falling in love with a girl from the upper class society.
The author's other books have been made into films. While '3 idiots' was based on 'Five Point Someone', 'Hello' was based on 'One Night @ The Call Centre'. 'The Three Mistakes of My Life' was adapted as 'Kai Po Che!' and '2 States' was based on '2 States: The Story of My Marriage'.
