London: American soap opera "Melrose Place" will be soon be back on screen.

Lifetime has announced that it will blend behind-the-scenes drama and gossip from cast interviews into a television movie called "The Unauthorised Melrose Place Story", reported Digital Spy.

The tell-all movie will dramatise Heather Locklear's arrival on the series as its ratings bottomed and the increasingly-bizarre storylines that built "Melrose Place" into a television power-house, among other topics.

"Melrose Place" gave early career breaks to "Sex and the City" star Kristin Davis, "Gossip Girl" actress Kelly Rutherford, "Desperate Housewives" stars Doug Savant and Marcia Cross, Ally McBeal's Courtney Thorne-Smith and "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Lisa Rinna.

Lifetime has increasingly turned towards tell-all movies about iconic television shows over the last year.

"The Unauthorised Saved by the Bell Story" aired last autumn, and soon to debut on the network are movies about "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Full House".
