Mumbai: The makers of Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Neerja’ took to Twitter to share an audio clip of - Neerja Bhanot – who was posthumously honoured with the Ashok Chakra by the Government of India for her bravery and sacrifice. She saved the lives of 359 passengers on board the Pan Am 73 flight that was hijacked in Karachi in 1986.
The film directed by Ram Madhvani is set to hit he screens this Friday. Sonam will essay Neerja in the film which also stars Shabana Azmi, who plays Rama Bhanot, the brave-heart’s mother. Music composer-singer Shekhar Ravjiani will make his acting debut with this film.
