Los Angeles:  'Sons of Anarchy' creator Kurt Sutter has poked fun at the rumours that a movie adaptation of the TV series is being planned with Brad Pitt as a part of it.

Fans of 'Sons of Anarchy' were bubbling with excitement on social media after a report suggesting a 'Sons of Anarchy' movie is in the works emerged on Tuesday, December 23.

Sutter took a dig at the report on Twitter by naming some comedians as the cast members for the movie.

"I'm so pleased to announce that the PUNS OF ANARCHY movie is a go! RealCarrotTop as Jax DonRickles as Clay SarahKSilverman as Tara," he wrote.

'Sons of Anarchy' is an American crime drama about the lives of a close-knit outlaw motorcycle club operating in Charming, a fictional town in California's Central Valley.

The show centers on protagonist Jackson 'Jax' Teller (Charlie Hunnam), initially the vice president of the club, who begins questioning the club and himself.

Ron Perlama starred as Clarence 'Clay' Morrow and Maggie Siff played Tara Knowles-Teller in the show.
