Kriti Sanon says no to Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ – here’s why

Mumbai: Kriti Sanon has lost a golden opportunity of working with Salman Khan in ‘Sultan’! The ‘Heropanti’ star wasn’t keen on signing a contract that Yash Raj Films had put forth her and hence she chose to decline the offer.

According to a report in DNA, Kriti was asked to sign a contract that would present her as a Yash Raj talent. The pretty actress, who was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ has already created a niche for herself in the industry and has a few big projects in the pipeline.

“The actors launched by the studio (Ranveer, Parineeti, Anushka, Vani) have to pay a percentage of their earnings from films and endorsements to the studio,” DNA quoted an insider as saying.

Salman apparently wants Kriti on board but the producers are reportedly interested in signing Parineeti Chopra.

The first schedule of ‘Sultan’ is completed but the female lead’s spot still lies vacant.

Who will step in? Only time will tell.
