New Delhi: The stunner of an actress in Indian cinema, Deepika Padukone has made her niche spot in the Hindi entertainment industry, and that too in a short span of time. The hard-working tall beauty is now all geared up for her on-screen representation of Rani Padmini in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's (SLB) 'Padmavati'.
The gorgeous looking diva will be seen playing the titular character in the film, where her co-star of two previous super hit films 'Ram Leela' and 'Bajirao Mastani', Ranveer Singh will also join forces yet again with their favourite director SLB, and this is for the third time by the way.
Shahid Kapoor too will play an important role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh in the film, who is Rani Padmini's husband whereas Ranveer will be seen as Alauddin Khilji.
Deepika in a unique way shared a picture on Twitter and Instagram where although she captioned: “#3YearsOfRamLeela” but the picture was of a book on Padmavati—A Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.
Interesting cocktail she could think of. Indeed it is three years of Ram Leela, with 'Padmavati' being the third film of Deepika, Ranveer and SLB together.
