Mumbai: The motion poster of one of the most awaited films – 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' – a sequel to 2011 super-hit ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, is out! Starring R Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut (in a double role), the film has been helmed by Aanand L Rai, the one who had directed its prequel too. Check out the motion poster here:
The makers chose to launch the motion poster in a glitzy event to mark the birthday of its leading star Kangana Ranaut, who turned 28 Monday. In the first look of the film, Kangana is seen in a double role – one as a shy bride and another as a tomboy - with R Madhavan sitting in the middle donning wedding attire. Kangana, who cut a two-tier cake in presence of media people and the film's unit, said it was Aanand's idea to launch the first motion poster of the film on her birthday. "Releasing the film's motion poster on my birthday is merely a co-incidence. The film was supposed to release in July but Aanand decided to release it by May end now. It was Aanand's decision to release the first look today and celebrate my birthday with you all as we are shooting it here," Kangana said.
