Ash donned the hat of a caring nurse in this film with a sensitive theme. From wearing her hair in a different style to the thick, dark lipstick, Sofia D'Souza's captivating and powerful performance was highly appreciated. The film dealt with the story of quadriplegic magician (played by Hrithik Roshan) appealing for euthanasia.
Black:
Rani Mukerji's portrayal of a differently-abled woman falling in love with an older man garnered many praises and established the star as one of the most capable actors in the industry of the time. Rani depicted a blind woman full of wishes and her struggle to get past all the obstacles that stood her way in achieving her dreams.
Devdas:
Aishwarya as Paro in 'Devdas' was not only an epitome of feminine charm and beauty but the reflection of a pained, lovelorn woman. The breathtaking outfits and makeup made the heroines of this film, including Madhuri Dixit, hail 'Devdas' as one of the most regal and bewitching treat to the eyes.
Bajirao Mastani:
The movie is yet to hit the theatres, but from its first look we can see that, like always, Bhansali has two very lovely women to woo us all over again. Deepika Padukone as Mastani and Priyanka Chopra as Kashibai seem to be having a lot to offer in the film. We can only only anticipate till the film hits the theatres.
Saawariya:
This movie based on Fyodor Dostoevsky's 'White Nights' portrayed a charming Sonam Kapoor essaying the character of Sakina. Kapoor displayed a rustic beauty and innocence in this role.
Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela:
