Mumbai: Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra starrer ‘Brothers’ has minted over Rs 50 crores at the Box Office in the first weekend, reports suggest. Apparently, ‘Brothers’ is the second Bollywood film to rake in such a big collection after Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. The Mixed Martial Arts based film derailed Varun Dhawan’s ‘ABCD 2’ to grab the second spot in highest first weekend grosser, reports Bollywoodlife.com. Trade analyst Komal Nahta took to Twitter to break the news:

Directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar, the film based on Hollywood flick ‘Warrior’, released on 14 August. It also stars Jackie Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez essaying prominent roles.
