'Raees' will see him portray not only a grey character on-screen but also he will be seen for the very first time with Pakistani beauty Mahira Khan. The latter is a famous name in her hometown—thanks to some great fiction drama series that she has been a part of. Mahira also gained recognition in India with her hit television series 'Humsafar' with Fawad Khan.

After a lot of speculation over the female lead in the film opposite Salman Khan, we finally got to know that it is the very talented Anushka Sharma, who has bagged the deal. Aamir Khan's much awaited movie 'Dangal' will see him paired opposite Sakshi Tanwar, the famous face of Indian television. It was earlier reported that actress Mallika Sherawat too had auditioned for the part to play Aamir's wife in the movie.
