The original 'Khiladi' Kumar is known for delivering innumerable hits at the Box Office. Be it action, comedy, romance or drama—Akki masters it all! He knows what his audience wants from him. Sangharsh

This psychological drama starring Akshay Kumar, Preity Zinta and Ashutosh Rana was directed by Tanuja Chandra. The film saw some great performances by the actors and was well received by the viewers. This is certainly one of the best on-screen roles Akki has done so far.

Hera Pheri

This 2000 film by Priyadarshan still tickles the funny bones. Starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Sunil Shetty and Tabu in lead roles, the film was a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Ramji Rao Speaking (1989).

Dhadkan

Akshay was seen in a sweet and loving husband's role in 'Dhadkan'. The film starred Shilpa Shetty, Suniel Shetty and Akshay in pivotal parts. The film was a superhit because of its storyline and brilliant music.

Aitraaz

This film had a bold subject and probably first time ever story of a man accused of sexual harassment by his female superior was told on reel. Directed by Abbas-Mustan, and produced by Subhash Ghai, the film starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Akshay in lead roles.

Namastey London

This romantic drama starring Katrina Kaif and Akshay in the lead proved to be a turning point in Kat's life and she was accepted as a top-notch actress. Her pairing with Akki became one of the most hit jodis in Bollywood. Akki's portrayal of an innocent Indian boy was hugely appreciated.

Holiday

The actor looks best when in action. Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty starred Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles, and was an action thriller. Directed by A R Murugadoss, the film was produced by Vipul Shah. His role of an army officer generated a lot emotion among people.

This film surely did the trick for Akshay Kumar. The audiences loved to see this thriller drama. This espionage action thriller film directed by Neeraj Pandey had Akki play the lead role. The film garnered positive reviews, and was well appreciated by the critics.

Gabbar is Back

'Gabbar is Back' again saw Akshay in action avatar but with a twist of Gabbar. The audience loved to watch him kick some butt on screen. The film was directed by Krish and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It was a remake of the 2002 Tamil film 'Ramanaa', directed by A R Murugadoss.

Brothers

This more recent action-drama saw Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra in lead roles. The films was based on Mixed Martial arts (MMA) and was helmed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Dharma Productions. An official remake of the 2011 Hollywood film 'Warrior', the movie saw Jackie Shroff and Shefali Shah play the supporting roles.
