New Delhi: Filmmaker Karan Johar, who's look in movie `Bombay Velvet` has taken everyone by surprise has been receiving words of praise from the Tinsel town.
KJo, who is rather well known for his humorous side and delivering witty one-liners has sported a serious intense look.
Starting form Bollywood hunk Sidharth Malhotra, who played quite an angry- young-man in `Ek Villain` to B-Town's loverboy Varun Dhawan, has heaped the director with praises.

Karan will be playing the role of Kaizad Khambatta, an arch rival of street fighter Johnny Balraj, essayed by Ranbir Kapoor.
