Splitting ‘Deathly Hallows’ was inevitable: Daniel Radcliffe

London: According to ‘Harry Potter’ star Daniel Radcliffe, the ‘Deathly Hallows’ had to be split into two movies in order to do justice with the novel.

“All the books from the Goblet of Fire onwards were big, but you could cut swathes out without detracting from the story.”

“In Deathly Hallows there are no sub-plots. It’s all the same story so it’s hard to lose a page. In one film we’d have had to reconfigure the entire story and it wouldn’t be an adaptation of the book,” The Mirror quoted him as saying.

Reports say that the decision by Warner Bros to split ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ was initially met with criticism.
