Antonio Banderas` firm inks deal for his next two films

Melbourne: It is official. After months of speculations, ‘Two and a Half Men’ has reportedly signed Ashton Kutcher to succeed Charlie Sheen as the show``s star.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the final touches are reportedly being put on the deal that would see the former ``That ’70s Show`` star at the helm of the billion-dollar comedy franchise.

The 33-year-old was approached after Hugh Grant pulled the pin on negotiations with the show’s head honchos that would have seen the British actor pocket 1 million dollars per episode to star in the comedy series, reports News.com.au.

It is not known the exact figure Kutcher is set to earn, but a source told the entertainment site that Kutcher is in line for a ‘huge payday’.

With 6.7 million twitter followers, Kutcher will bring with him a more juvenile, or more youthful audience to the show.

Series creator Chuck Lorre is said to have already devised a story line that will introduce Kutcher’s character.
