Los Angeles: Actor Alex Pettyfer will reunite with filmmaker Lee Daniels in his next film, an interracial action movie.
The director revealed that he`s developing an "interracial love affair action movie" revolving around a gay couple with the `Magic Mike` star attached to play one of the male leads.
Daniels describes the untitled project a gay `Mr and Mrs Smith`, but with the two good-looking guys as the action heroes.
The filmmaker is happy to have scored Pettyfer for the movie. "He`s so hot, isn`t he? So hot. And so aware of his hotness in a way that`s so...I love him to death."
The Oscar-nominated helmer says the film is in early development and he is still searching for an African-American actor to star opposite Pettyfer.
Pettyfer played a supporting role in the historical fiction drama `Lee Daniels` The Butler`, starring as hot-tempered farm owner Thomas Westfall who was shot to death after raping the wife of his sharecropping tenant.
