`Black Swan` Darren Aronofsky`s next is a sci-fi

London: After `Black Swan`, his Oscar winning tale of an obsessed ballerina, director Darren Aronofsky is all set to direct a sci-fi thriller, starring George Clooney.

The 42-year-old will helm the film titled `Human Nature`, about a cryogenically frozen man, who wakes up in the future to discover humans have become pets of an alien species, reported Contactmusic.

The filmmaker who dropped out of helming the film `Wolverine` starring Hugh Jackman earlier this year, is now working on the sci-fi movie, written by little known screenwriter Jeff Welch.

The film would be Aronofsky`s first since the massive success of psychological ballet film `Black Swan`, for which he was nominated for an Oscar and Natalie Portman won the Best Actress Academy Award.

The director who ended his relationship with British actress Rachel Weisz last year, previously claimed he was worried many actors were scared of him because of his directness.

"I`m very direct, probably direct to a fault with actors, and I`ve probably scared away a lot of A-list actors, because I tell them how much of a pain this process is going to be, how difficult it is," he said.
