Los Angeles: Leading beauty brand Mac is set to launch a capsule collection inspired by the late Latina songstress Selena in 2016.
The officials of the brand stated that the late singer's legacy embodies MAC's philosophy, reported Us magazine.
"Selena's talent and beauty, inside and out, have left a colourful, meaningful impact in the world that has continued to grow over the last two decades," MAC Senior Vice President, James Gager, said in a statement.
"We have heard the passion and enthusiasm from her fans and wholeheartedly agree that her legacy embodies MAC's philosophy," the statement added.
While official images of the collection have yet to be revealed but it has been said that it will be as bright and beautiful as the "Dreaming of You" singer, who dominated the music scene in the late '80s and early '90s until she was tragically shot to death in 1995. Since then Selena has been immortalised in countless ways, including the biopic "Selena" starring Jennifer Lopez.
