Mumbai, Aug 28: Now people concede to Katrina’s wishes and take in without any objections. It’s not only her star status and popularity, but because of her enduring friendship with superstar Akshay Kumar. After four back to back hits, Akshay and Katrina are certainly the much in demand jodi. Every bit of popularity that the lady now enjoys is supposedly because of her friendship with Akki. Now, that definitely puts her in a position to make demands and get them fulfilled.
Wonder what Katrina’s beau, Salman has to say about it? Afterall, the lavish publicity and acceptance Kat enjoys is not because of her man- who’s currently in the bad light- but because of her friendship with Akshay.
Akshay Kumar recently shot for a television show, titled ‘The Making of A Superstar’ at Filmistan studios along with Dia Mirza, Amrita Arora, tanushree Dutta and Lara Dutta besides Katrina.
A source present on the sets of the show says, "All the actresses present at the venue didn`t have say on the songs they wanted to perform on. It was only Katrina who could select her favourite tracks. Not just that, since the show is about the making of Akshay as the superstar, he makes an appearance in all the songs of the other actresses. However, Katrina will be the only one who will get to perform with Akki.”
However, Katrina`s business manager Sandhya says, "Katrina is in town for three days to complete the last schedule of Subhash Ghai`s ‘Yuvraaj’ after which she flies to Ooty for Raj Kumar Santoshi`s ‘Love Hua’. Later, she leaves for New York for Yash Raj` project. As far as I know, she`s not shooting for any TV show."
Now if all these were just rumours, wonder what is actually keeping the lady in high-spirits!
