Mumbai: Yash Raj’s ‘Dhoom’ might have given Esha Deol a new lease of life, but the actress couldn’t deliver much as an actress since then.

Now married to businessman Bharat Takhtani, Esha reminisces her ‘Dhoom’ days and hopes Katrina Kaif is able to live up to people’s expectations in the film’s latest franchise.

Talking to the reporters, Esha said, “I am sad that I am not a part of the whole franchise. But I wish Katrina lives up to the expectations that come with the ‘Dhoom’ tag. I am sure she will because she is a brilliant actress.”

The ‘Dhoom’ series is known for presenting its women characters in sexy avatars. And with Katrina Kaif on board the film, expectations are bound to multiply.
