New Delhi: The very attractive and famous Cecil, the lion was unfortunately killed on July 1, 2015 after an American dentist and recreational game hunter Walter Palmer from Minnesota, paid a professional hunter to help him kill the animal. This has sparked outrage by many in the West, and now Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan too has joined in the fight against the killing.
Cecil lived in the Hwange National Park in Matabeleland North, Zimbabwe and was lured by the accused before he shot him down, reportedly.
In a series of tweets, Varun posted:
