The actress grew teary-eyed as she listened to the 'The Revenant' actor's thank you speech. As Leonardo touched upon issues on climate before summarizing how he felt about the whole night, Kate was almost in tears. The duo reportedly share a good friendship and have often stood out for encouraging one another.
Kate is also said to be one of the top fans of the actor and has always wanted him to win his Oscar soon.
