Mumbai: Poonam Pandey can now celebrate the first anniversary of her rise to fame. Remember how she became a household name since India won the cricket World Cup last year?
Well, for those who might have forgotten, a 19 year old model made her way to the world of name and fame with her claim to parade nude in public to celebrate Team India’s World Cup win. From being an aspiring model to a dream girl of many awe-struck men, Poonam has come a long way.
In a span of one year, Poonam has become a celebrity of sorts and has garnered a huge fan following. She has been busy posting provoking picture and videos of hers on social networking sites but hasn’t yet lived up to her commitment- to strip all nude!
Poonam has kept her fans waiting endlessly and we really wonder if her claim was a publicity stunt.
While the moral police have been keeping a close watch on her activities, fans of hers have been raving praises at her and tagging her as a youth icon.
The girl, who turned 20 recently, has mastered the art of finding innovative ways to keep people hooked on to her.
On April Fool’s Day, Sunday, Poonam tweeted, “WHO HAD THIS PIC OF ME NAKED?? WTF!!!(sic).”
She had posted a blank picture and her tweet which incited her followers to take a look at the “supposedly nude” picture of hers. That was probably her way of celebrating April Fool’s Day!
She also reminisced Team India’s 2011 World Cop win and tweeted, “Wow its 2April, the day we got home the WC last year .... feels really gr8(sic).”
We are not quite sure if anyone else is as happy as you are for you have made the most of India’s World Cup victory and that indeed is you claim to fame!
