Madrid: Spanish pop star Alejandro Sanz has announced the birth of his third child, a boy named Dylan, in a message on Twitter.

"And life made way amid siren songs ... and Dylan came into the world to save it from itself ... welcome," wrote the 42-year-old singer-songwriter, a Latin Grammy Award- and Grammy Award-winning artist known for "Corazon partio" (Broken Heart) and many other hits.

Dylan is the first child from Sanz`s relationship with his girlfriend and former assistant, Raquel Pereda.
