New Delhi: Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s insensitive tweets on footpath dwellers kicked up a storm after the verdict in the 2002 hit-and-run case involving Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was pronounced Wednesday.
The singer used street dogs as an allegory to hold people who sleep on roads accountable for such accidents.
Just a day after drawing flak for such distasteful tweets he posted photos of a road where dozens of street dwellers are sleeping. Calling it dangerous, he says that he has raised the issues of the homeless.
