New Delhi: In a breather of sorts for Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, the Delhi police today has said that the 'Bigg Boss 9' promo featuring the two was not offensive, initial reports suggest.

The 'Bigg Boss 9' promo was not shot to hurt religious sentiments, Delhi police has told court today. The police in its ATR says no cognizable offence made out against actors Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

The next date of hearing is March, 2, 2016.

While the show was on air, one of the promos showed the actors recreate the scene from their famous film 'Karan Arjun' inside a Kali temple. The scene here was a chroma shot, but Bharat Rajput, president of Hindu Mahasabha’s Meerut unit had filed a plea against the makers and actors for wearing shoes inside the temple.
