Mumbai: Salman Khan welcomed his father – Salim Khan – to Twitter on Monday. The senior Khan has often been very expressive about his views on the state of affairs and has been vocal in the past too. The first three tweets of the veteran writer hailed RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement on ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ row.

The Bollywood superstar also retweeted his father’s tweets appreciating Bhagwat’s statement.

A statement issued by Bhagwat said, “We can't force our ideology and thinking on others. All the people residing in the country are our own. We have to build ourselves in a manner that we build a Bharat where everyone chants 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' voluntarily.”
