New Delhi: Saif Ali Khan has reportedly approached the Madhya Pradesh high court to save the royal property from being confiscated. The property was inherited by his grandmother Sajida Sultan in 1961.
The property is being confiscated under the Enemy Property Act after the property issue became disputed when Saif's grandmother's siblings challenged the ownership of property.
According to a leading daily, Saif moved court on Monday to keep the centre from confiscating the property
The Bhopal Nawab, Hamidullah Khan 's eldest daughter, Abida Sultaan, was supposed to be the successor, but she migrated to Pakistan in 1950 hence losing the right to the inheritance.
