London: Actor Ryan Phillippe`s ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp has given birth to a baby girl.
The model-actress, who claimed Phillippe is the father of the baby, welcomed Kai, last Friday, and the actor was reportedly by her side throughout the birth.
"He is a good father and whether this is his baby or not, he wants to do the right thing and be supportive. Knapp is really excited to be a mom," contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.
It has not yet been confirmed whether Phillippe is the father of the baby. He is expected to undergo a paternity test in the coming weeks.
The 36-year-old dated Knapp on-and-off for several months until September 2010.
