New Delhi: Filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma seems to have gone off his rockers. He has taken it upon himself to post offensive statements on his Twitter handle, about Lord Ganesha and the festival of Ganapati.
He wrote on his wall:
The guy who couldn't save his own head from being cut , how he will save others heads is my question? But Happy Ganpathi day to morons!

The tweet has gone viral and has caused a lot of outrage on the social network site.
To the comments he also replied:
What did Ganesha do that his brother kumara dint do so that only Ganesha became god? Is it becos Kumara dint get head cut off like Ganesha?

The director who has time and again come into the limelight for all the wrong reasons, seems to be trying to create controversies to stay in the headlines.
Leaders from the ruling party BJP, have also said that the director must apologise for his blasphemous statement. The political outfit VHP has called for an immediate action against the director, saying that he has offended the Hindu sentiments.
