Washington: A man who was accused of stalking Paris Hilton has pleaded not guilty to violating his restraining order after he was arrested outside the heiress’ Malibu home.
James Brian Rainford, 36, who was supposed to stay at least 200 yards away from the star pleaded not guilty before a judge at a Van Nuys, California courtroom where he was accused.
It is the third Hilton-related run-in with the law Rainford has had this year, reports Radar Online.
In January, the Los Angeles man pleaded no contest to trespassing at the reality star’s Hollywood Hills home, and he also pleaded no contest to battery after attacking Hilton’s now ex, Cy Waits outside a court in April.
He was released from custody after serving 24 days of a 227-day sentence.
