Oprah Winfrey set to auction personal items for charity

London: Media mogul Oprah Winfrey is set to auction some of her personal items like a marble bathtub and a doll, to raise some money for charity.

Winfrey, 59, is trying to raise funds for Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation College Fund that helps girls, who graduate from her school in Africa, to pay their university fees, reported Contactmusic.

The earnings are planned to made by selling items from her homes from all over the United States, including residences in Chicago, California, Indiana and Hawaii.

The chat show host is also auctioning off numerous home furnishings such as glamorous chandeliers, a marble bathtub, and a side table which is thought to be from the late 18th Century or early 19th Century.

The items will be sold by Karminski auction house on November 2.
