LiLo celebrates 25th b’day with low-key family meal at home

Washington: Instead of jetting off to the Hamptons or LA to celebrate her birthday and her release from 35 days of house arrest, Lindsay Lohan reportedly opted for a quiet family meal at home.

The ‘Mean Girls’ star had been under house arrest for stealing a 2,500 dollars necklace, and had initially been sentenced to 120 in county jail, a sentence that was reduced due to the judge deciding that Lohan was ``non-violent``, reports a daily.

"She opted to stay in California instead of coming to New York because she has community service and wanted to concentrate on that. She’s doing really, really, really well,” Contactmusic quoted her father Michael as revealing the reasons for Lindsay``s decision to stay home.

Her community service requires her to attend a women’s shelter, where she must complete 360 hours of service and she also has to attend an anti-shoplifting class.
