Mumbai: Year 2016 has seen some of the most shocking breakups. Fans of celebrity couples who headed to splitsville are yet to come to terms with reality. And at this juncture, rumours of another celebrity couple heading for a divorce started doing the rounds. Speculations were rife that Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu were apparently facing problems in their marriage.
Soon after stories about the two filing for divorce went viral, Kemmu took to Twitter to put all rumours to rest in his own style. Here’s how he responded.
“What!! Why is my marriage in trouble?? Why am I heading for a divorce? Am I in a different reality or the people reporting this nonsense. Ek baar jo Maine commitment de di toh phir mae PRESS ki Bhi nahi sunnta! (sic).”
Soha, however, had a laugh.
“The rift rumours are laughable. It started with a shot in the dark piece and then just took on a life of its own from fighting to filing for divorce. Kunal has been putting off filing his nails for ten days now. Forget filing for a divorce!,” DNA quoted her as saying.
Soha is inspired by her parent’s 44-year-old marriage. She believes that marriage has its shown share of ups and downs and the two people involved in it will have to make it work through difficult times.
