New Delhi: John Abraham broke many hearts when he made a surprising revelation of his marriage to Priya Runchal on a social networking website. The `Dostana` actor`s act to drop this big hint is rumoured to be a hasty decision.
There`s yet to be an official word on the news from John or Priya, but his post on Twitter more or less confirms their status as a couple.
"Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed 2014! May this year bring you love, good fortune and joy. Love, John and Priya Abraham," the actor, for whom 2013 turned out to profitable as a producer thanks to "Madras Cafe", tweeted on Friday.
According to a tabloid, the duo, who were supposedly dating for a long time, were rumoured to have tied the knot in 2011. It is also said that the actor-turned-producer`s decision to disclose that he is single no more is maybe because Priya is expecting a child.
Abraham has been tight-lipped about his personal life and he didn`t mention the details about his marriage. The actor, who was last seen at Mumbai airport on December 28, with Priya to celebrate his new Year in US, was earlier in a relationship with actress Bipasha Basu, but the duo broke up in 2011.
Ever since, John revealed about Priya, saying that she was a banker, her folks lived in the US and that he met her through mutual friends – there have been rumours that they have secretly tied the knot.
