Mumbai: Actor Imran Khan`s wife Avantika Malik, who was struck by dengue recently, is on the path of recovery.
"She (Avantika) is a bit fine now. Her platelet count is up now. She has to take bed rest for eight to ten days. Her blood tests are happening regularly... Don`t know how everyone is getting dengue," Imran said at a film promotion event.
Avantika, who had been running high fever for quite some time, was recently diagnosed with dengue.
The vector-borne infection also struck actor Ranveer Singh when he was shooting in Durgapur.
