Mumbai: India's most loved former president APJ Abdul Kalam passed away on Monday after he suddenly fell ill while delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management in Shillong. The 84-year-old president breathed his last at 6:40 PM following a massive cardiac arrest. The entire nation is in grief. He was a people’s president, who had struck an emotional chord with people from all walks of life and inspired many from across all age groups. Like many, who had a desire to meet the former president once in their lifetime, Bollywood actor Salman Khan too had a wish. The actor, in a series of tweets expressed his grief on the passing away of Dr.Kalam. He tweeted:
