New Delhi: If rumours are anything to go by, Salman Khan- who has mentored many upcoming Bollywood A-listers, is reportedly irked with Sonakshi Sinha. The ‘Dabangg’ star had left no stone unturned to launch Sonakshi in his hit movie, but her rejection of Arbaaz Khan’s upcoming project has left Salman upset.
According to a tabloid, Sinha, who is said to be one of Khan’s closest in the industry, has left the 47-year-old actor disappointed for turning down the movie offered to her by Khan’s brother.
“After Dabangg 2, Salman wanted Arbaaz to make a film without him. Arbaaz signed Abhishek Dongra as the debut director for his next production,” the report quoted a Bollywood source as saying.
“Initially, Katrina Kaif was being considered for the film but later Salman suggested Sonakshi’s name. Arbaaz offered the role to Sonakshi. But for reasons unknown, she couldn’t agree to do the film and this seems to have irked Salman, who didn’t expect her to turn down his request,” the report added.
However, the question remains- is this the first signal of their friendship turning sour?
