Mumbai: One of Bollywood’s ugliest controversies involves Indian silverscreen’s superhero – Hrithik Roshan – and the ‘Queen’ of Hindi cinema – Kangana Ranaut.
The two actors, who worked together in ‘Krrish 3’, have been at war verbally. They have been taking jibes at each other and have even been threatening to make shocking revelations.
It looked like the dust surrounding the controversy had settled but things seem to be far from getting over.
According to a report in MissMalini.com, Kangana took a dig at Hrithik during Chetan Bhagat’s book launch recently. However, her comments were in response to a question asked to her by the media present at the event. The ‘Reolver Rani’ star chose to respond to the question even when her sister Rangoli and her manager tried to avoid the same.
A few days back, on being quizzed by reporters, Rakesh Roshan reportedly went on to say that his son “chose to remain dignified when someone was spreading lies about him”.
When Kangana was asked to comment on the veteran filmmaker’s remarks, she said, “Why can’t men stand up for themselves? He is a 43-year-old man. Why does his father have to come to his rescue always? They will keep hiding behind their influential, big-name fathers. He’s an adult, he can pretty much handle his own controversies. It’s just a simple controversy, why do daddies always have to save their sons? I don’t understand this.”
