Daniel Radcliffe ‘wants to be successful to help budding child actors’

Washington: Daniel Radcliffe has revealed his wish to help budding child actors face fewer expectations of failure if he at all manages to book a successful career after the completion of the ‘Harry Potter’ series’.

The 21-year-old actor, whose journey started with the movie when he was just 11 years old, believes that if he can go on to do well in his movie career, other young stars will not run the risk of being dismissed before they reach adulthood.

“My personal crusade. If I can make a career for myself after ‘Potter’, and it goes well and is varied and with longevity, then that puts to bed the Child Actors Argument,” a website quoted him as telling GQ magazine.

“If I can do it, in the biggest film franchise of all time, no other actor who comes after will have to answer those same questions,” he added.
