Rome: Newly married couple George Clooney and British human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin will officialise their marriage in Venice today.
The couple, who wed Saturday at a private star-studded ceremony, will make things official in a civil ceremony at Venice town hall.
"Clooney and Alamuddin will wrap up their eventful weekend with a civil ceremony on Monday, at which point they will officially (and legally) be pronounced man and wife," Clooney's representative told a website.
They made their first appearance as man and wife in a watertaxi, where they flaunted their wedding bands, heading towards Hotel Cipriani for a Sunday brunch.
Clooney and Alamuddin were first spotted stepping out together in London last October.
