London: Pop star Christina Aguilera says she gets astonished by her abilities as a working mother, which makes her feel like a "super-human".
The `Not Myself Tonight` singer, who is married to American Music Marketer Jordon Bratman and has a two-year-old son Max, believes that her ability to be both a mother and a working woman takes beyond average strength, Contactmusic reported.
"I think all of us as women have this super-human quality. We create life, we give life, we are the sources of life for our children - we`re all pretty bionic,"she said.
The 29-year-old star who recently shot her first movie, `Burlesque`, opposite Cher is excited to be working again after taking a long break to be with her son.
"There definitely are moments when he doesn`t want me to talk about work and I very much understand that but I have to feel fulfilled in every capacity of the woman that I am," she explained.
After becoming a mother, Christina has grown quite confident with her body and she says that her movie `Burlesque` gave her an outlet for her sexuality.
"For a while your body is definitely not your body and you very willingly give it up for your child, but now I feel more confident and comfortable with what my body can do," she added.
Aguilera has just released her first single `Not Myself Tonight` from her fourth studio album `Bionic` after a hiatus of four years.
