London: Cheryl Cole is preparing to "divorce with dignity" despite her estranged husband Ashley`s attempts to win her back.
The plans come despite the couple being back on good speaking terms.
"There are no divorce lawyers yet, Cheryl wants to do everything on her own terms. She is speaking to Ashley, they are texting - she even calls him babe - but as much as she loves him, there is no way back. This is divorce with dignity, it is Cheryl`s style," a news website quoted a source as saying.
"When it happens, it will be quick, quiet and painless."
Sources say Cheryl is likely to keep the couple`s nine-bedroom home just outside Godalming, Surrey, which they bought for USD 5.4 million in 2008. After alterations, the property is now said to be worth USD 9.3 million.
