Mumbai: After abusing former AAP founding member and lawyer Prashan Bhushan for moving a petition to stay Yakub Memon’s hanging, singer Abhijeet questioned his colleagues Mahesh Bhatt and Shatrughan Sinha for endorsing the same.
He tweeted: “If u face the same what those 257 families and 26/11 suffered.Then wd like to c your reaction. @MaheshNBhatt @ShatruganSinha (sic).”

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha were reportedly among the many who supported the petition seeking mercy for Yakub.
Interestingly, Salman Khan, whom Abhijeet had supported while the former was convicted by a sessions court judge in the 2002 hit-and-run case, apparently disagreed with him on his views on Yakub’s hanging.
